Best Hikes (beach walks are best at low to medium tides):

Walk out of the cottage down to the water. Go West for � mi until you reach creek. Go North along trail for 200 ft. Get on large trail going west which will take you back to cottage.
Drive to Navarre Bridge (East on Hwy. 98). Go over bridge and continue straight into the parking lot. Walk � - 2 mi along Gulf of Mexico. Cross over island to the Sound. Come back along The Sound and sashay into Juana�s for cool drink. Go to Sailor�s Grill bakery�buy yourself a bear Claw and a loaf of bread.
Drive to Pensacola Beach. Go West on Fort Pickens Road to last parking lot on the right side of the road before going into the fort. Walk � -2 mi on the Sound, cross over to Gulf of Mexico and walk back. If you are up for a mini marathon, hike or run down the Sound to the Fort�s point and then back along the gulf to your vehicle.
Drive to the little National Seashore museum six miles west of Soundside on Hwy 98. Walk trails on top of bluff along The Sound. There are also trails and parking on the other side of highway where you can walk along the bay.
Drive to downtown Pensacola. Go to the fountain at the foot of South Palafox. Park vehicle and meander NE to Seville Quarter area. Mind Bayfront Parkway traffic when you cross. It is a different mind set than San Francisco.
Drive to Walmart and go south to the Garcon Bridge. Cross bridge, pull vehicle over and climb down the rocks to the water. Interesting walk East along needle rush. You will see traffic, but the beach is yours. Going back, turn your vehicle around before going through toll.
Paddle kayaks from cottage directly across to Pensacola Beach. Walk over to Gulf and go East along shore until you realize it�s time to head home. make a circle by going over island again to the Sound and back to kayak. Needless to say, bring water and life vest.

Our condo at Sunset Harbour Villas has one bedroom with a king-sized bed, two full-sized bunkbeds in the hallway, and a double-sized sleeper sofa to accomodate six (6) people. It has a full kitchen and den with 2 tv's, dvd, vcr, and cd players, and is located on the first floor just steps from the condo swimming pool. Linens are provided and our condo has its own washer/dryer.

The condo is located a block from the beach and a short walk from the bay. Navarre Beach is a quiet, scenic beach that has the white sandy beach and crystal blue ocean that will allow you to have a nice, peaceful vacation away from the crowds.
